Page Proportions & Sizing Rules
To ensure your poster prints correctly without distortion, your digital file must be proportional to your final printed poster size. We will not stretch a "square" file to fit a "wide" poster shape.
Posters Larger Than 56 Inches:
Microsoft PowerPoint has a maximum page width limit of 56 inches.
If you are ordering a poster with a dimension larger than 56 inches, you must use a smaller page setup that is perfectly proportional to your final desired print size. We will scale the file up during printing.
Resizing Your PowerPoint File
If you need to resize your file, it is critical that your content scales proportionally so it does not stretch or become distorted. The method depends on your version of PowerPoint.
PowerPoint 2013 or Later
Navigate to the Design tab and select Slide Size to change your dimensions.
When prompted by PowerPoint, choose the Ensure Fit option.
Your slide size will change, but your content size will remain the same.
Rearrange and manually scale your content to fit the new layout.
Earlier than PowerPoint 2013
Select all the content currently on your poster (
Ctrl+A) and cut it (Ctrl+X).Navigate to the Design tab and select Page Setup to change your dimensions to the new size.
Paste your content back onto the newly sized slide (
Ctrl+V).Rearrange and manually scale your content to fit the new layout.
